With Adobe Acrobat DC we could talk about a new product and not a new edition.
Now the releases are named with the reference year while the versions are identified with the code “anno.versione” (eg release 2017-version 17.012.20098). Several functions have been added and the menus and logics have been radically redesigned: for example, with Acrobat DC Adobe has switched to using multiple browser type tabs. This version is a totally renewed edition, both in the interface and in the structure, focused on the cloud.
On April 6, 2015, Adobe released a new edition of the program, called Adobe Acrobat DC (with passage from release 11.2 to release 15.0, then DC 2015.0). Adobe Acrobat, as a product of the same company that developed the PDF, was the first program able to work on this format.
